Amy Seulky Lee is a sought-after pianist and vocal coach based in Vancouver and Dubai. Ms. Lee made her debut with the Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra in 2010 and has since performed across Canada and Europe.
Recent engagements include Wagner's Der fliegende Holländer under Maestro Leslie Dala, Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream under Maestro Jacques Lacombe, Bizet's Les pêcheurs de perles with Maestro Kamna Gupta and Mascagni's Cavalleria rusticana under Maestro Jonathan Darlington.
Also, she served as a music director for Vancouver Opera's production of Massenet's Le portrait de Manon and Singing Stories School Tour.
Ms. Lee received her Master of Music degree from University of Toronto where she studied with Professor Steven Philcox and holds a Bachelor of Music degree from University of British Columbia, where she was a student of Dr. Terence Dawson as a recipient of The Pearl Kerr Mossfield Memorial Scholarship, and The Grant F Hurst Memorial Scholarship.
Throughout her career, she has had the privilege of working with world-renowned musicians, including John Fisher, Leon Fleisher, Graham Johnson, Rena Sharon, André Laplante, Warren Jones, Martin Katz, Soile Isokoski, to name a few. Ms. Lee is a recipient of the Art Song Foundation of Canada Grant, MRPM Art Council Scholarship and has been a participant of the Orford Music Festival, the Vancouver International Song Institution, and the Toronto Summer Music Festival.
